Morgan spoke with young Jayden love and Raciel Castle, as well as with Elke Kennedy, whose 20-year-old son was attacked because he was gay and murdered in a crime of hate, according to GLAAD, which helped organize the meeting in the Forney Ali Center.
"The inability of our fathers we accept changed our lives for the worst," love and Castle said in a joint statement issued by GLAAD. "We hope that our stories have the power to change not only the perspective of Tracy, but those of any parent who may be struggling with the acceptance of his son." At the meeting, Tracy clearly assumed responsibility for his words, and we hope that you will use his platform to make the world a better place for LGBT people.
Morgan was performing in Nashville on June 3, when he released apparently outrageous jokes. Finally he apologized after his words the rounds of media, outraging many.
